I popped in on Sunday lunchtime, and whilst enjoying a lovely pint and chatting with Mark (the extremely personable new landlord), I happened to notice that "boeuf bourguignon with Lyonnaise potatoes" was on the menu.
This is one of my favourite dishes, and so of course I ordered it, and I am so glad that I did because it was absolutely delicious; in fact it was by far the best one I have ever tasted!!

A decent concise menu but every dish a winner. Our kids loved the pasta but our favourite was the beef bourguignon. The perfect warming antidote to these winter days. We spent a lovely couple of hours there on a Sunday and will hopefully be back soon.
